We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator Nurse Supervisor to join our Lung Transplant team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Senior Nurse Manager in the overall operations of our organ transplant programs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Lung Transplant program
- Collaborate with the transplant team, including surgeons, transplant physicians, coordinators, dieticians, pharmacists, therapists, and social workers
- Monitor and manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Lead a professional and technical team in the delivery of quality care and services to our patients
- Participate in performance improvement activities, including problem identification, assessment, data gathering, change implementation, and evaluation of outcomes
- Actively participate in surveys from regulatory and licensing agencies, including UNOS, Medicare, JCAHO, and DNV
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting
- At least two (2) years of previous transplant/MCS coordinator experience
- Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in the health sciences, nursing, or other related field required
- Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS) certification
