Key Responsibilities of the Food Service Aide:
  • Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies to minimize waste and ensure quality. Properly date, label, and store items while adhering to food handling standards.
  • Responsible for cleaning, stacking, washing, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and for removing any damaged items from service.
  • Ensure the proper transportation and storage of clean dishes and utensils, maintaining sufficient quantities for meal preparation and service.
