Job Summary

Bungie is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Officer to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a safe and secure environment for Bungie employees and visitors.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and conduct in line with Bungie's core values and policies.
  • Ensure that all personnel entering the facility are authorized and possess the necessary Bungie credentials.
  • Conduct COVID-19 screening for all personnel entering the facility.
  • Respond to security-related incidents as they occur.
  • Act as an ambassador to Bungie for all employees and guests entering the facility.
  • Assist with the implementation of company-wide safety & security policies and procedures related to building security, emergency preparedness, safety hazard mitigation, protection of company assets, and loss prevention.
  • Assist with security during special events and company off-site gatherings.
  • Maintain standard emergency response protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain the studios' security and life safety systems at regular intervals to ensure proper operation and effectiveness.
  • Oversee emergency procedures and serve as a first responder to emergency events such as fire, earthquake, active shooter, civil unrest, lockdown, and evacuation.
  • De-escalate confrontations and workplace conflicts whenever possible.
  • Conduct routine and random patrols of the premises and perimeter on a consistent basis.
  • Perform inspections of security equipment, including but not limited to CCTV and access control systems.
  • Gain expertise in the various tools and programs available to security to maximize job performance.
  • Responsible for overall life and safety of employees and guests.
Requirements
  • Experience in Corporate/Enterprise Security.
  • Must pass employment background check.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules.
  • Must have a HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must have the ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects and schedules effectively.
  • Must have the ability to develop and write clear and concise documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Efficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office and O365, including: Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Experience in solving logistical problems; analyzing information, determining contexts, taking appropriate action, and choosing the course of action.
  • Interpersonal experience and customer service mentality. Communication experience to include: listening, precision questioning.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
  • Must be able to run and climb stairs or ladders.
  • Must have sufficient hearing to respond to normal verbal speech, alarm signals, radio, and telephone communications.
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to read and understand emails, incident logs, maps, and computer screens to check identification (such as company badges, or drivers licenses) and to distinguish the faces of employees, contractors, and visitors.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Everbridge application management experience.
  • Experience in Executive Protection, including protection strategies, tactics, and technology. Experience communicating, presenting, and fielding questions from Executives and their staff.
  • Military, security, or other applicable experience.
  • ASP, PSP, or CPP certification.
  • Washington State Concealed Pistol License.
