Radiology Department Manager

Osceola Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our imaging department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and efficient use of resources.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology and leadership experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and Management: Supervise and lead the imaging staff, including radiologists, technologists, and support personnel.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring efficient workflow and patient scheduling.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and develop quality control measures.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication regarding imaging results.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
- A graduation from an accredited radiology program from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a technologist, with two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Certification and registration in Radiology (e.g., ARRT, RT(R), CNMT).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and history of building strong working relationships.
