Cardiovascular Technologist

Norman Regional Health System is a leading provider of healthcare services in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team as an Interventional Radiology Specialist.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance during procedures.
- Assess patient conditions, providing personalized care and support.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to industry standards.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Utilize downtime effectively, completing tasks such as stocking rooms and checking equipment, as delegated by the Charge person or manager.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- 1 year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
