We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our team at Synopsys in Austin, TX. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering expertise to support our customers and improve IP usability.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and two years of experience in EDA tools, ASIC and semiconductor industry design and verification, and IP integration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Providing technical support to customers during the integration of our IP into their complex System On Chip implementations.">
  • Resolving issues during functional verification, silicon tape out, and silicon bring-up.">
  • Performing and coordinating integration reviews at key milestones in the ASIC design flow and sign-off flow.">
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide effective guidance to resolve functionality and performance issues.">

The successful candidate will have a strong background in register transistor level design, VHDL and Verilog, Linux environment, LPDDRx and DDRx protocol requirements, and static timing analysis tool syntax.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with IP design or integration flow of System On a Chip design, including simulation, verification, RTL synthesis, and physical design.

Our company offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary range of $145,000 to $164,000 per year, plus an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
