About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Cook Group. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in assembling medical devices that make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices according to written specifications and manufacturing instructions, ensuring compliance with our Quality Policy Manual and Quality Management Systems.
  • Meet quality work standards and production rates, working independently or as part of a team.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management to achieve production goals.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including product specifications, manufacturing instructions, and quality control records.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow product specifications, manufacturing instructions, and drawings.
  • Work with small, intricate parts, identifying components using catalog descriptions.
  • Operate various tools and machines, such as razor blades, hole punches, and table top grinders.
  • Build products by performing tasks like cutting, flaring, tipping, sideporting, gluing, and bonding.
  • Set up and operate production machines, using measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
  • Count and perform simple arithmetic additions and subtractions.
  • Conduct constant visual inspections for product non-conformances and report quality problems to management.
  • Verify raw materials and occasionally use magnifying devices.
  • Work with chemicals like adhesives, acetone, talcum powder, and isopropyl alcohol.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Diploma, or participation in a Cook-sponsored program to obtain a High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma.
  • Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Meet Visual Acuity Screening Requirements of 20/40 vision using both eyes with or without correction.
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods during the shift.
  • Frequent repetitive motion.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment.
