As a CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in producing detailed drawings for internal fabrication shops and steel erectors. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed plans, drawings, and other documents for the fabrication and erection of steel members used in the construction and maintenance of VMC processing plants and various support structures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Detailing: Prepare detailed drawings and designs for fabrication and erection of steel members, ensuring compliance with design and local codes.

2. Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and construction personnel to detail desired construction methods and ensure projects are completed in a cost-effective and timely manner.

3. Quality Control: Accurately complete and check all necessary fabrication drawings, shop details, and Bill of Materials, ensuring high-quality work.

4. Documentation: Maintain and organize the department's electronic drawing files, ensuring compliance with company standards and protocols.

5. Travel: On occasion, travel to sites to take necessary field measurements to ensure accuracy of project details.
