About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling Commercial HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to HVAC contractors in the Western Washington state market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent York Factory Direct and promote the JCI portfolio in the Western Washington state market.
  • Develop partnerships with existing customers to increase share of wallet and recruit new customers into the York family to increase market share.
  • Sell Commercial HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to HVAC contractors.
  • Build relationships with existing customers and expand growth year-over-year.
  • Discuss all products and programs York Factory Direct offers to gain more share of wallet.
  • Teach and coach customers to utilize all program features available to grow their business.
  • Prospect and recruit customers who fit the York partnership profile.
  • Create custom marketing strategies to help customers grow.
  • Assist customers in selecting the best York products to meet their clients' needs.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale.
  • Ensure customers participate and attend industry-leading training classes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Commercial HVAC industry experience (preferred).
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct outside sales experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Travel required to each customer within aligned market.
  • Self-motivated individuals with a high energy level and desire to achieve goals beyond what is required.
