Job Summary

Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot to join our team in Monroe, Louisiana. As a key member of our Acadian Air Med program, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients in critical care situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a helicopter in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate and Instrument Helicopter Rating.
  • 2,000 hours of total flight time, with 1,200 hours of helicopter flight time and 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command helicopter time.
  • Valid driver's license and 2nd Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Air medical operations experience.
  • Single-pilot IFR operations experience.
  • Night vision goggle operations experience.
