Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot to join our team in Monroe, Louisiana. As a key member of our Acadian Air Med program, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients and medical personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all phases and aspects of helicopter air ambulance operations, upholding the highest standards of flight safety.
- Directly responsible for the operation of the assigned aircraft at all times, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Attend Metro Aviation, Inc. or customer meetings as required, complying with all directives and guidance of the Metro Aviation, Inc. General Operations Manual.
- Perform pre-flight inspections, servicing, and confirm aircraft airworthiness, maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned aircraft.
- FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate and Instrument Helicopter Rating (Airline Transport Pilot Rotorcraft Preferred)
- 2,000 hours of total flight time, with 1,200 hours of helicopter flight time and 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command helicopter time
- Turbine helicopter time and night vision goggle operations experience preferred
