Job Overview

At Day Wireless Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining complex radio systems and 911 communications centers.

Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot and repair complex communication systems, including 2-way radios, transmitters, receivers, and antennas
* Perform system programming and testing using industry-standard test equipment
* Install and maintain dispatch consoles, paging infrastructure, and trunked radio systems
* Collaborate with customers and vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely resolution of problems
* Assist with quotes and bids to determine customer needs

Requirements

* 5-7 years of experience in 2-way radio and wireless communication systems theory
* Associate degree or equivalent in electronics and wireless system repair
* Industry license (FCC, FICA, or NARTE) and valid driver's license
* CET or NABER certification
