Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our diverse student body
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Manage food inventory and ordering to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Collaborate with our nutrition team to develop and implement healthy eating initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a higher education setting
  • Proven track record of menu development, food safety, and team leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
