Design and Innovate with Amazon Stores

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Innovation and Design Engineer to join our team in Nashville. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative solutions for complex logistics systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners
  • Travel up to 20% globally to support project needs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 2+ years Amazon experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
  • Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, robotics, and/or high-speed manufacturing
  • Proficiency using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty
  • Experience with process design and based on Lean Principles
  • Proficiency with concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
