Prisma Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our vascular lab, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular lab exams, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our medical team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of vascular lab exams, including duplex imaging, Doppler, and plethysmography, using independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and abnormal findings.
- Operate various vascular lab testing equipment and software packages, including ultrasound and physiological equipment, EMR, and Structured Reporting and PACS.
- Participate in daily workflow, rotating to multiple vascular lab locations as scheduled, and participating in after-hours, on-call, weekend, and holiday schedules.
- Attend staff and departmental meetings, participate in discussions, and stay up-to-date with changes in the field.
- Associate's Degree in Radiology or Sonography from a formal/Director-approved program.
- One year of experience in vascular sonography, with consideration given to clinical rotations during a formal educational program.
- ARDMS certification as RVT or CCI(RVS).
