We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to join our team at Right at Home West Los Angeles, CA. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to our clients, allowing them to age in place and maintain their independence with dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Accompany clients to appointments and engage in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management, as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is preferred.
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Have a registered Home Care Aide (HCA) license.
- Recent TB test (negative).
- CPR Certification.
- Valid driver's license and own insured automobile to drive clients on appointments preferred.
- Paid Training- 5 hours of paid training to maintain your HCA license.
