Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide essential assistance and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the West Los Angeles area. As a caregiver with Right at Home, you will help clients maintain their independence with dignity by providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. You will also take clients to appointments, engage in meaningful activities, and offer companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Take clients to appointments and engage in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management, as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is preferred.
• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Have a registered Home Care Aide (HCA) license.
• Recent TB test (negative).
• CPR Certification.
• Valid driver's license and own insured automobile to drive clients on appointments preferred.
