Medical Specimen Collector

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Spectraforce Technologies. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
- Prepare blood samples for lab testing by labeling, sorting, and packaging them according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient samples and lab results.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating leadership behaviors and process excellence skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in phlebotomy or a related field; one year of experience preferred.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
