Job Title: PACU Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PACU Nurse Leader to join our team at Hunterdon Health.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) to take on a leadership role. As a PACU Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for providing patient care in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for providing patient care in compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Use critical care skills as a first-line direct patient care treatment team member.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of principles of growth and development to assess each surgical patient's age-specific treatment and care.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
  • Minimum of 2 years PACU and/or critical care experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Leadership, critical care assessment skills, and high motivation desired.
  • Certification in specialty preferred.
