Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide post-operative care to patients in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit). This role requires clinical expertise and administrative skills to ensure seamless patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, maintaining accurate medical records, and discharging patients according to established criteria.
- This position requires 1-2 years of experience in a critical care or PACU setting. Baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Current licensure in Massachusetts and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
- A strong understanding of Meditech software is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Conduct initial assessments with anesthesia providers to evaluate patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate written reports of patient vital signs.
- Discharge patients from the PACU according to established criteria.
- Ensure compliance with post-anesthesia policies and procedures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a critical care or PACU setting.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
