Responsibilities

Under the guidance of a physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), you will play a crucial role in assisting with procedures by scrubbing and monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic interventions conducted in the cardiovascular lab. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the procedure room adequately for each intervention.
  • Monitoring the inventory levels of all instruments and supplies.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Training new staff members.
  • Assisting in all facets of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • ARRT-R certification and state-required licensure or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification are mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
  • Completion of a Cardiovascular technologist training program with a focus on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is advantageous.
  • BCLS (AHA) certification is required upon hire and must be maintained.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, encompassing wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranges from $45.00 to $60.00. The specific starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
