Como Vascular Imaging Specialist, serás responsable de llevar a cabo exámenes de ultrasonido vascular según lo indicado por el médico.

Entre tus responsabilidades se incluyen:

  1. Operar y mantener el equipo de ultrasonido de manera eficiente.
  2. Analizar los datos de imagen para asegurar una cobertura adecuada del área de prueba.
  3. Realizar el mantenimiento regular del equipo y reportar cualquier mal funcionamiento al gerente.
  4. Explicar los procedimientos a los pacientes, así como entrevistar y obtener su historial médico.
  5. Brindar apoyo técnico y de enfermería al radiólogo y al médico durante los procedimientos.
  6. Mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro, limpio y eficiente, de acuerdo con las políticas y procedimientos establecidos.
  7. Gestionar los suministros necesarios en la sala y administrar los recursos de manera efectiva.
  8. Posicionar a los pacientes adecuadamente, comunicándote de manera efectiva con otros profesionales de la salud.
  9. Desarrollar y mantener relaciones interpersonales positivas con el personal de otros departamentos.
  10. Realizar evaluaciones a pacientes de diversas condiciones y edades, considerando sus necesidades físicas y fisiológicas.
  11. Registrar y mantener todos los registros relacionados con el examen de ultrasonido.
  12. Garantizar niveles de calidad que superen o cumplan con las expectativas de los clientes mediante un enfoque de mejora continua y trabajo en equipo.
  13. Comprender el uso de medidas de protección radiológica para el personal y los pacientes.
  14. Demostrar competencia en la técnica de escaneo al preparar a los pacientes para los procedimientos.
  15. Cuidar adecuadamente a todos los pacientes, atendiendo sus necesidades físicas, de seguridad y psicosociales.
  16. Utilizar la formación en BCLS para asistir en emergencias de atención al paciente, incluyendo la realización de RCP y manejo de vías respiratorias.
  17. Mantener el equipo de ultrasonido y realizar pruebas y/o procedimientos de control de calidad.
  18. Archivar las imágenes obtenidas durante todos los casos.
  19. Gestionar el pedido y almacenamiento de suministros técnicos utilizando nuestros proveedores y el sistema de gestión de inventarios.
  20. Demostrar habilidades de comunicación efectivas y buenas relaciones interpersonales.
  21. Asegurarse de que el centro cumpla con las normas y regulaciones estatales relacionadas con la seguridad y protección radiológica.
  22. Manejar un entorno de trabajo complejo de manera efectiva.
  23. Mantener actualizada la Manual de Seguridad Radiológica, cumpliendo con las normativas estatales.
  24. Ser parte del equipo de seguridad radiológica del centro.
  25. Otras tareas según se asignen.
