Ambulatory Regulatory Specialist

The Ambulatory Regulatory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the pharmacy department's compliance with federal, state, and internal regulations. This includes conducting audits, monitoring claims, and collaborating with management to resolve issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting desktop and onsite audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Proactively auditing claims to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Handling third-party requests and coordinating with pharmacy managers
- Auditing delivery processes to ensure medications are delivered and receipts are on record
- Collaborating with management to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of payer audits
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and a keen eye for detail. A Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
