Job Overview

Metro Industrial Services is seeking skilled Assembly Technicians for a prominent manufacturing firm. This role is temporary and offers valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate various assembly machinery as directed.
  • Conduct die changes and setup tasks efficiently.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of components into welding and assembly fixtures.
  • Utilize equipment for welding, stamping, pressing, and other assembly processes.
  • Engage in manual assembly, welding, and tapping as needed.
  • Ensure production meets quality standards and output requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assigned machinery.
  • Complete all necessary documentation related to production activities.
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $16.00

Work Schedule:

2nd Shift: Monday - Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
3rd Shift: Monday - Sunday, 10:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.

Candidate Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Ability to read and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.
