As a skilled Aerospace Painter at RADIUS AEROSPACE, Inc., you will be responsible for coating the surfaces of aircraft parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
Coats surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials using spray gun and other equipment.
Selects and mixes coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller.
Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with industry standards.
Records types and amounts of paints used for environmental regulation reporting.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by cleaning paint booth area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications
Basic data entry into manufacturing software system
