Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect patient care in a clinical environment under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician.
- Effectively communicate with healthcare providers and team members regarding patient conditions, including symptoms and diagnostic results.
- Adhere to regulatory standards and nursing protocols while following Triad MSO policies.
- Provide patient-centered care and communication tailored to the needs of patients and their families.
- Accurately complete patient documentation and billing in a timely manner.
- Facilitate communication between clinical and administrative teams to enhance clinic performance.
- Manage patient appointment scheduling and ensure accurate collection of demographic information.
- Conduct prior authorization tasks with insurance providers to ensure coverage for patient tests and procedures, keeping the healthcare team informed of any issues.
- Maintain an organized workspace, prioritize tasks effectively, and utilize downtime to review patient information for accuracy.
- Serve as a liaison among patients, staff, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current LPN License is required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Understanding of insurance benefits and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of confidentiality ethics and HIPAA regulations.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- Critical thinking abilities.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
