Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Amtec Contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components, as well as maintaining accurate records and logs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and solder electronic components using hand-held tools and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed
  • Assist with simple rework and minor troubleshooting
  • Ability to follow work instructions and interpret mechanical and PCBA documentation

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in assembly and soldering of thru-hole and SMT components
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and verbally at the general business level
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification is a plus
