Sinclair Broadcast Group is in search of a talented and passionate full-time Visual Storyteller. We are looking for an individual who can capture the essence of a story through their lens and deliver engaging narratives. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in electronic news gathering (ENG) within a network-affiliated news organization. Your responsibilities will include covering daily news, in-depth features, and investigative reports. We utilize full High-definition (HD) technology for shooting and editing on both desktop and laptop systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a proactive team member to produce compelling stories under tight deadlines.
- A degree in Journalism or a related discipline is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate ENG news vehicles.
- Have at least one year of experience in shooting and a solid understanding of editing and photographic equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to shoot and edit general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages.
- Be capable of lifting and transporting equipment weighing between 25 and 50 pounds regularly.
