About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Production Systems Engineer to join our team at Employment Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Ice Cream production facility. Your technical expertise will be key in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to support production goals safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for steam, air, refrigeration, water supply, air handling, and production equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components, including 3-phase (480V) and low-voltage (24VDC) systems.
  • Skill Requirements: Utilize skills in chain/gearbox systems; welding, plumbing, and electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Tool Operation and Safety: Operate hand and power tools (e.g., grinders, torches, drill presses) while ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Additional Tasks and Projects: Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
  • Lifting and Climbing: Lift 50–100 lbs., with frequent stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Varying Work Conditions: Work in varying conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, cold, and noise up to 92 dB.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in dairy processing or related industries.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18+ years old.
Work Schedule:

Will start on 1st Shift Mon-Fri 5:00am - 1:30pm with flexibility to work 2nd Shift 1:30pm - 10:00pm, Nights, Overtime and Weekends as needed.

Compensation:

$26.00 per hour with an increase after conversion
