Job Title: Truck Operator

Job Summary: The Truck Operator role involves driving a semi-tractor trailer to transport products, equipment, or materials within designated locations. This position allows for daily home return.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive semi-tractor trailers to transport products, equipment, or materials within specified regions.
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are functioning properly.
  • Navigate trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew and ensuring proper alignment of vehicles and loading equipment.
  • Gather delivery instructions from relevant sources, confirming details and routes.
  • Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status, adhering to applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages.
  • Travel primarily within designated regions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess a Class A CDL and maintain this certification/license.
  • Ability to drive interstate between specified states.
  • Previous experience is essential; a minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer experience is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English are required.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
  • Adaptability to changing demands is crucial.

Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment DOT drug test, background screening, and physical examination.
