Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice location(s)
  • Provide and/or facilitate office and support staff functions
  • Assist with the administration of Meridian policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at the practice level
  • Maintain providers' daily schedules to meet productivity levels
  • Regularly review productivity standards and make staffing adjustments as needed
  • Coordinate with Operations Coordinators for staff compliance with productivity standards, documentation expectations, CANS/ANSA completions, and timely and accurate treatment plans
  • Ensure timely scheduling of all requests for emergent evaluations/medication reviews
  • Provide staff with the tools needed to complete day-to-day responsibilities
  • Ensure proper medication management/administration procedures are developed and followed
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities for direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, performance appraisals, and addressing performance concerns
  • Complete payroll functions for all line staff, including approving paid time off and expense/professional development requests
  • Assure training and orientation of all administrative staff and maintain a service-oriented atmosphere with patients, the public, and other staff members
  • Track licensure requirements for all staff members
  • Maintain effective feedback mechanisms with staff to enhance work processes, promote employee understanding, and employee engagement
  • Assist staff in resolving operational problems/concerns
  • Participate in monthly Medical Staff meetings as needed
  • Attend supervision meetings with the Regional Manager as needed
  • Provide data required to document the experiences at the practice(s)
  • Assist Senior Management in achieving the Health Center's operational and budgetary goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Management, Business Management, or a healthcare-related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with a strong management background, 5 years preferred
  • Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM), Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), or Certified Administrator of Physician Practice Management (CAPPM) Certification(s) preferred
  • Valid driver's license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required
