Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at HealthPRO Heritage in Mesquite, TX. As a key member of our home health division, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Compensation Package:

  • Estimated Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience and qualifications

About the Role:

Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, providing direct patient care, and conducting therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, report observations to physical therapists, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or license eligible.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
