The Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading the operational strategies and initiatives for the Central West Region, which includes multiple states. This position is crucial for managing daily operations, strategic planning, and resolving specific performance challenges. The Vice President will work within a complex organizational structure, requiring strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders. A comprehensive understanding of interdepartmental dynamics and enterprise-wide capabilities is essential.

The Vice President will analyze market data to link financial results with operational success, making decisions that impact departmental coordination and strategic plan execution.


Responsibilities:

- Manage the bid process, including competitive analysis and strategy development to meet growth and financial goals.

- Oversee provider financial performance through regular reporting and contract evaluations.

- Lead budgeting processes and strategic initiative reviews.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in value-based contracts, and significant leadership experience. A background in accounting or actuarial science is preferred, along with a solid understanding of complex financial transactions.

Key skills include:

  • Experience in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ability to develop metrics for complex data analysis.
  • Strong team-building and operational management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.

A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree, CPA, or actuarial certification being advantageous.
