The Clinical Supervisor in collaboration with the Director is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals of the unit. As a designated leader, they are responsible for implementing, supervising, and evaluating safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director to ensure the safe operation of the department
- Supervise and evaluate staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Implement and maintain fiscal responsibility and strategic goals of the unit
- Develop and maintain a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors
Requirements
The RN Supervisor ER Full Time Rotating candidate will possess the following education, licensure/certifications, and experience:
- Competent in all areas assigned
- Proven leadership skills, including achievement, management, interpersonal relations, problem-solving, critical thinking, positive communications, and personal performance
- Minimum licensure and certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
- Minimum experience/additional certification: 3 years of ED experience with demonstrated leadership ability
