Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at Bluebird Sunapee. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Management: Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records, including room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, and final bill preparation.
  • Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping and security requests, and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Administrative Support: Perform additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as required, ensuring the smooth operation of our front office.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, computer proficiency, and experience with accounting or reservation software.
  • Schedule: Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours.
