Position Title: School Psychologist

Overview:

Soliant is in search of a proficient and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Azle, TX. This full-time role involves delivering essential psychological services to students, focusing on their academic and emotional growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a supportive environment for students, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and social progress.
  • Design and execute tailored intervention strategies based on evaluation findings.
  • Provide therapeutic counseling to assist students in overcoming behavioral, emotional, and academic obstacles.
  • Engage with teachers, school administrators, and families to address students' educational requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with unique needs.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support services for students and staff as necessary.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping and documentation in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Current Texas School Psychologist certification or licensure.
  • Experience in a school environment is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of special education laws and guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
