School Psychologist Job Description

Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to provide psychological services to students in a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology and valid Texas School Psychologist certification or licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide counseling services to students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support students' educational needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Texas School Psychologist certification or licensure.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
