Job Summary

Aviation Training Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CV-22 Special Mission Aviator to join our team as an instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and instruction to students on the operation and maintenance of the CV-22 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the CV-22 aircraft to ensure it is airworthy and in good working condition.
  • Aircraft Systems Operation: Operate and monitor the CV-22 aircraft's systems, including electrical, propulsion, hydraulic, pneumatic, environmental, emergency, and flight control systems.
  • Performance Data Calculation: Calculate and certify aircraft performance data, including weight and balance, for takeoff, in-flight, cruise, mission execution, and landing phases.
  • Mission Planning: Participate in mission planning with aircrew, maintenance, and support organizations to ensure the successful completion of missions.
  • Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance: Conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations using various sensors, mission equipment, and precision-guided munitions.
  • Cargo Loading and In-Flight Maintenance: Develop cargo loading plans and perform in-flight maintenance of airborne weapons systems and associated equipment.
  • Alternate Insertion/Extraction and Hoist Operations: Perform pre-flight visual inspections and operational checks of alternate insertion/extraction, hoist, cargo sling, and fire-fighting systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in aviation science, aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aviation field or 12 years of experience in the aviation maintenance training industry in positions of increasing responsibility for the CV-22.
