Position Overview
  • Assist in delivering patient care by supporting activities related to hygiene, nutrition, mobility, elimination, and safety under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support resident admissions, orientation, monitor vital signs, and promptly address patient needs.
  • Carry out responsibilities including repositioning patients, monitoring vital signs, applying medical devices, and maintaining necessary supplies.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members, nursing staff, and management while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Must possess an active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment.
  • CPR certification is required within six months of hire.
  • Experience in long-term care settings is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and effective time management are essential.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and assist patients of various weights.
  • Good dexterity and coordination for handling medical equipment and patient care.
  • Visual acuity with color distinction is necessary for precise patient care documentation.
