Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital Stoddard. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care, and evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. The successful candidate will also coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
- Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, C-EFM
