About the Role:

The Project Director will play a pivotal role in leading design/build projects with values ranging from $50 million to over $250 million. This position serves as the primary liaison for the owner, design team, and project personnel, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to a high standard. The Project Director will also collaborate closely with various internal teams, mentor project managers and engineers, and maintain overall accountability for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Work alongside Architects, Engineers, and Planners to develop design timelines
  • Set project forecasts and manage budgets
  • Effectively oversee project costs
  • Guide and develop project management personnel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in overseeing construction projects valued at $50 million or more
  • In-depth knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technologies
  • Proven track record of leading a successful project management team
  • Physical capability to navigate construction sites and handle heavy materials
