The Grady School is a private, non-profit organization that provides ABA and educational services in a full-day, year-round program to children with autism. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Specialist will be responsible for conducting assessments and re-assessments as needed, developing, writing, implementing, and updating treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, or a related field, and be Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working with autistic individuals and be licensed as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Washington.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and re-assessments as needed
* Develop, write, implement, and update treatment plans
* Evaluate students' progress and make changes to interventions as needed
* Demonstrate mastery of basic and advanced behavior analytic principles and teaching methods
* Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analyses as needed and write corresponding Behavior Intervention Plans
* Provide direct supervision and support when high levels of distress and behaviors of concern are observed
Requirements:
* Master's degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, or a related field
* Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB
* Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Washington
* 1+ years of experience working with autistic individuals
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1+ years of experience working as a BCBA
* Experience working in a school setting and/or collaborating with special educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists
* Experience working with clients who utilize alternative, augmentative communication (AAC)
