Job Title: Director of Revenue

Job Overview:

The Director of Revenue will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our SaaS business. You'll lead our Account Management and Customer Success functions, focusing on delivering solutions that enhance talent management practices for our target market. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale a high-performing sales organization in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Hire and manage a team of Account Management and Customer Success professionals.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage team members to ensure alignment with company goals and client needs.
    • Cultivate a high-performance culture with a focus on delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  2. Strategy Development and Execution:
    • Create and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
    • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of account management and customer success efforts.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  3. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in financial services institutions.
    • Oversee the delivery of customized solutions that address unique talent management challenges.
    • Address and resolve escalated issues or concerns from clients in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
    • Stay informed about market trends and the competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and other initiatives to boost sales performance.
  5. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Partner with Product, Marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of sales and customer success efforts.
    • Provide feedback and insights to the product team to drive enhancements based on client feedback.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and present regular reports on sales performance, customer success metrics, and other relevant data.
    • Analyze trends, track performance, and adjust strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales management within a SaaS company, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing account management and/or customer success.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, specifically in the HR tech space.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
