**Job Summary**

The Kids Events Team Member is responsible for leading children through a variety of activities, including rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, and gym games. They will incorporate nutrition education with themed activities, providing a high level of safety and fun for children from ages three to thirteen years.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Engage children in interactive activities, including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, and games, while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Lead a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive, and outgoing attitude, acting as a role model.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of activities and programming to ensure safety.
  • Promote monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
  • Ensure use of supplies, snacks, and drinks follows the amount prearranged by the department budget.

**Requirements**

  • ~1 year of related experience.
  • ~ First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire.
  • ~ Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire.
  • ~ Ability to tolerate loud noises.
  • ~ Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders.
  • ~ Ability to work evenings and weekends.

**Compensation**

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and pays up to $19.25, based on experience and qualifications.
