We are seeking an experienced Industrial / Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at Express Employment Professionals of Clearwater.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial and facility equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various equipment.
- Completing all necessary documentation associated with the duties.
- Establishing and performing preventative maintenance checks on production machines, pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Performing inspection and maintenance checks on all control systems, identifying, reporting, and correcting safety concerns.
- Maintaining electrical switch gear and power distribution.
- Performing advanced engine/compressor/pump testing and implementing/maintaining facility grounding systems.
- Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed, including exterior of building.
- Experience working with motors, VFDs, PLCs, and Automatic Transfer Switches.
Requirements:
- Two-year Associate Degree in job-related technical training or equivalent work experience.
- Specific knowledge: Working knowledge of electronic test instruments and process controls.
- Knowledge and experience reading and understanding drawings of electrical circuits.
- Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
- Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel & Word.
- May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties.
Work Schedule:
First shift Monday through Friday (Saturday may be necessary if post-production maintenance is needed).
