Assistant Store Manager Job Description

As a key member of our store team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in driving sales growth, improving store performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This dynamic role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a high-performing team, while also driving business results and implementing company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize store sales and achieve sales goals through effective leadership, coaching, and training of store associates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive and engaging experience in our stores.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing store associates, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage store expenses, including labor, inventory, and operational costs, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, associates, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
