About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at D and H Distributing Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day activities of our distribution facility in Newnan, GA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that operational and financial objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security protocols.
  • Conduct physical counts and reconcile inventory with our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Schedule and assign employees to meet warehouse operational requirements.
  • Manage warehouse staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Utilize excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to drive operational performance.
  • Conduct ongoing self-audits of location processes and individual accountabilities.
