Seeking a Highly Technical Finance Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team at Omada Search. This critical role involves managing various accounting tasks, including post month-end close processes, and requires advanced reporting skills in Power Query, SQL, and NetSuite saved search reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post Month-End Close: Lead the preparation and completion of post month-end close reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reporting: Develop and manage advanced financial reports using Power Query, SQL, and NetSuite saved search reporting to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Accounting Tasks: Manage various accounting tasks, including system entry as directed by the PDS Controller or Director of Partnerships, business license management, and other system-related tasks.
  • Reporting Requests: Handle various reporting build requests from different departments, providing tailored financial reports to meet business needs.
  • Accruals: Perform monthly accruals for payroll and other key financial areas such as leases.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and the PE firm's regional controller, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial matters.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Partnerships to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required based on work experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role preferred, with a strong emphasis on reporting and technical skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Power Query, basic SQL, and NetSuite saved search reporting. Experience with ERP systems, particularly during implementation, is highly desirable.
  • Accounting Skills: Solid understanding of financial principles, accrual accounting, and month-end close processes.
  • Flexibility: Must be open and adaptable to take on various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Work Environment: This is a full in-person position, requiring the candidate to be present at the office during working hours Monday-Friday 8 to 5.
