CNC Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist-turned CNC mechanic to join our team as a CNC Maintenance Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company in the Milwaukee area, known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Overview

As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex precision machined components, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. You will work closely with our maintenance team to increase facility runtime and support daily production requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the maintenance team to increase facility runtime and support daily production requirements.
  • Execute work orders and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Improve equipment and troubleshoot/repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform and assist with weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Communicate equipment malfunctions and corrective actions to oncoming shifts and department supervisors.
  • Work safely to maintain a safe and incident-free work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in CNC machining and high machine maintenance.
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance.
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge: blueprint reading, welding, torching fabrication, gears, transmissions, and belts.
  • Machining knowledge: Basic Fanuc and Mazatrol knowledge, seals and bearings, shaft alignment, lubrication technology and application, CNC machining knowledge, and overhead cranes.
  • Electrical knowledge: ladder diagrams, electrical components such as relays and limit switches, basic wiring, motors, drives, and power supplies.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems troubleshooting and component knowledge: blueprint reading, valves and pumps, cylinders, and seals.
