About the Role">

As a Registered Behavior Technician at Acorn Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, intensive ABA interventions to clients under the supervision of our experienced Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Job Responsibilities
  • Delivering ABA Interventions: Work directly with clients, implementing evidence-based treatment plans designed by our BCBAs to increase skills, decrease problem behaviors, and strengthen behavioral supports.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with supervising BCBAs and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Client Support: Provide support for parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBAs, empowering families to contribute to their child's growth and development.
  • Data Collection and Documentation: Collect and document client records to monitor progress, inform treatment decisions, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with parents, supervisors, and other stakeholders to keep them informed and facilitate collaborative decision-making.

Requirements
  • Certification and Experience: Preference given to candidates with RBT certification and 1-2 years of experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
  • Education and Skills: A bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field is preferred, along with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to fulfill job requirements.
